Updated Research Matrix on border restrictions in Europe

The situation regarding entry requirements in Europe is extremely complex and fragmented, and at times unclear. HOTREC has designed a matrix document to show where intra-European travel is authorized, restricted (with mandatory quarantines and/or testing requirements) or heavily restricted (essential travel authorized only). We have done our utmost to ensure the information in this matrix is accurate (as of today, 11 December 2020) but would nonetheless very much welcome any corrections you might want to suggest.

The tendency we observed in our previous update of 28 October towards a general increase of travel restrictions is continuing. Italy, Spain and Croatia in particular have tightened testing and/or quarantine requirements for the entry of EU nationals.
