With a resurgence of COVID-19 across Europe in autumn 2020, strict hygiene and health measures have been maintained in hospitality establishments and many European countries have re-introduced restrictions on catering establishments., including restictions on opening hours or blanket closures for bars and/or restaurants.

An update of the HOTREC 'lockdown measures' document is available here, based on research conducted on 24 November 2020 (with corrections for France, Italy and Greece since initial distribution):

Please note that this document is based on desk research covering various sources of information in different languages. In addition, measures developed across Europe are increasingly complex and subject to regional and local adaptations. We would very much welcome your comment and feedback and where necessary, corrections to this document.
