HOTREC research: Health and Safety measures for the hospitality sector

  The COVID-19 crisis has led to several initiatives at international and national level setting up health and safety requirements for the hospitality sector. HOTREC has developed the document below outlining the main trends and recurrent requirements for hotel accommodation and catering establishments set up across Europe. The document also identifies specific requirements set up in some countries which appear atypical compared to general trends. This document is based on more extensive research of various health and safety guidelines established in European countries (Austria, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy and Poland) as well as by the EU and the WHO, available here.
