On 11th May 2016, Booking has presented a new charter of good practices, setting out its commitments towards hotel partners and users. This charter is the fruit of long discussions between Booking.com and the GNI. The association ensured that Booking.com respect companies in the hospitality sector. From now onwards, this charter can be used as a tool in case of any complaint. For the GNI, the Charter is a first step but certainly not the culmination of the project. Some major points are still not covered: encrypted emails, brandjacking and digital marketing, parity rate in contract preferred, competent court, amongst others.
