SCA: several EU Member States delay FULL ENFORCEMENT
Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) rules entered into application on 31 December 2020. According to reports, several EU Member States are delaying full enforcement of the rules (Austria; Belgium; Denmark; France; Germany; Ireland; Italy; and Lithuania).
HOTREC would highly welcome any updates from Members on SCA enforcement in your national market, notably information on enforcement milestones and/or data on payment decline rates (in particular in EU Member States which have not delayed SCA enforcement). Please send updates to [email protected].
