We promote policies and initiatives that enhance the competitiveness sustainability and resilience of the tourism industry. By advocating for favourable business environments, supporting innovation, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders, we aim to drive the growth, quality and sustainability of tourism across Europe. Always having in mind that tourism is developed for people, by people (employees in the sector). HOTREC actively participates in policy discussions at both EU and international levels, representing the interests of our members and the broader tourism sector. We strive to shape policies that facilitate cross-border travel, remove barriers, and promote the benefits of a harmonized European tourism market.
