Director of The Hartes Group, a hospitality group in Co Kildare Ireland comprising 3 award-winning gastro pubs, a delicatessen and cafe with 10 boutique rooms and a microbrewery. Paul has worked in the hospitality sector for the past 25 years after graduating in 2001 from ATU Galway with a degree in hospitality. After working for 10 years in the hotel sector, Paul took on his first pub/restaurant in 2005. Since then he has steadily grown the business to what it is today employing 160 people locally in Kildare. Married to his wife Pauline, they have 4 children. In 2020 Paul assumed the position of VP at the Restaurant Association of Ireland before taking over in May 2022 as President.
