Letter addressed to Commissioner McGuinness on risk of insolvencies in the travel and tourism industry

On 25 May 2021, NET – the Network of the private sector in tourism, sent a letter to Commissioner McGuinness, responsible of the portfolio of financial services,  calling on the European Commission to continue engaging with Member States, financial institutions and all relevant stakeholders to find concrete solutions to support viable businesses in the travel and tourism industry through, for example, restructuring of debt capital, strengthening of equity capital and quasi-equity instruments, etc.
